This is a plastic-free/reduced plastic material that uses cellulose fibre as a reinforcing fibre. We offer a lineup of Toughcell mats for press moulding and Toughcell pellets for injection moulding.

Tough cell mat (cellular mat) for press moulding

The sheet can be processed in three dimensions through heat press moulding. The density (softness, hardness) and thickness of the sheet can be adjusted. The elasticity after moulding can be adjusted by changing the cellulose fibre content.

Toughcell pellets for injection moulding (cellulose resin pellets)

Pellet for injection moulding. Can also be used as a masterbatch. It causes less damage to cellulose fibres and has a high degree of whiteness, so it can be coloured. Complex moulding is possible by changing the cellulose blending ratio.
